Q: What is the cancellation policy for Maui Chef's Table?
Cancellations for a full refund are accepted 24 hours prior to the event. Cancellations within 24 hours will receive a 50% refund. (For a group of more than 10, it is a 2 week cancellation to receive 50% refund)
Q: Can I bring my children?
To ensure a consistent experience for all attendees, only guests 11 and older are allowed to attend. This allows parents the chance to dive into the untraditional Chef’s Table format. Maui Chef’s Table is a chance to interact with professional Chefs and fellow culinary enthusiasts. The environment is intimate and seating is at communal tables. After each course, and sometimes during, the Chefs will speak to the audience; discussing the inspiration and sourcing of ingredients for each dish. The duration of the event is approximately 2.5 hours.
Q: Can I bring my own wine?
No outside wine is allowed on premise. A full bar and extensive wine list are available. Our wine steward is more than happy to advise you on wine selection.
Q: I have an allergy or dietary restriction. Will you accommodate?
Maui Chef’s Table does not accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions. Please take into consideration that if you have a specific preference or allergy with food, you may not have an experience as elevated as others. Our goal with Maui Chef's Table is to create a unique culinary experience that showcases our Chefs’ creativity. If you have specific preferences or allergies with food, you may prefer our full-service restaurant, The Mill House, located on the same property, where we can accommodate any allergies and dietary restrictions.
Q: Where do I park for the event?
Complimentary parking is available at the Maui Tropical Plantation in our private parking lot. As you enter the lot turn left and park at the Southwest end. Follow the signs to Maui Chef's Table.
Q: What is on the menu?
Due to the nature of Maui Chef’s Table, menus are not published ahead of time. The Chefs use Maui’s finest ingredients and collaborate to craft a menu which is thoughtful and representative of the current goodness Maui has to offer.
Q: What is included in my ticket price for Maui Chef's Table?
The price of your ticket ($190 per person) includes: admission to Maui Chef’s Table, the food menu for that evening without substitutions, a pour of sparkling wine, a cup of coffee, bread service, and gratuity for the food menu.
At the end of the service at Maui Chef’s Table the only payment required will be for any additional beverages ordered and any desired gratuity for those beverages. A bill will not be presented if no additional purchases have been made.
Q: Are reservations required?
Reservations including advance ticket purchase are required for Maui Chef’s Table. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of booking. We accept Debit and Credit Cards as forms of payment.
Q: What is the duration?
Typically the event is about 2.5 hours long. The event starts promptly at 6:00 PM so we encourage guests to arrive early.

Q: How do I get to Maui Chef's Table? How long does it take?
Maui Chef's Table is located at Maui Tropical Plantation in Central Maui near the city of Wailuku. Dependent upon where you are joining us from there may be traffic, particularly if you are coming to us from West Maui (near Lahaina) or the North Shore (near Paia). We advise you leave ahead of typical travel time. Should you arrive early you may explore the Plantation grounds or indulge in a handcrafted cocktail at the Mill House Bar.
We are about 25 minutes from South Maui, 45-55 minutes from West Maui, and 35 minutes from the North Shore.
Maui Chef's Table does not arrange transportation. There are many resorts and services on Maui which do. Uber is available on Maui and can be a great way to travel to and from Maui Chef's Table. Since an Uber wait at our location can run between 10-30 minutes we recommend that guests evaluate the wait for a return ride around the fifth course.
Q: What should I wear?
Dress is resort casual. We do recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket as we are located in a cooler part of the island.
